Tuesday

Will post pictures a little later on today. I've been busy all morning with the initial projects for the move. My father-in-law is in town, too, so we celebrated last night with dinner and a trip to Target for toys. Everyone loves when Pa comes in town!

We all went to sleep with anticipation for the weeks ahead.....making it all come together....I have a list a mile long to tackle and it's not going to be easy. I'm mentally going through all of this and fall asleep around 11:00 and wake 2 hours later to Lainey whimpering in her crib. Totally unlike her.....we put her down around 6:15 each night and she wakes around 7:00am. Never makes a peep. I paid closer attention and didn't feel good about letting her fuss, so I went in to find our precious girl covered in vomit head to toe.....crib covered, too.....as well as her sacred "lamby" security blanket. She was standing at the side of her crib clutching her vomit soaked lamby, with the saddest look on her face.

Up for about 4 more hours with a weak baby girl, getting sick every so often and then cuddling with me in the interim. So, now I'm waiting for the rest of the family to catch the bug. Jack and Lainey have both had one symptom, but it's been occasional and for the rest of the neighborhood, the bug ended there. We'll see what happens with our house.

Around 4:00am, I was sitting up with Lainey, watching Blues Clues and comforting her as she cried and said, "Help, Mama, help." The sadness I feel when this happens.....it's heartbreaking. But, we made it through the night and I couldn't help but think - THANK GOD THIS HOUSE IS SOLD AND I DON'T HAVE TO SHOW IT ANYMORE!

Hallelujah!

Poor baby LC! Like you said at least you don't have to run out with a sick baby to show the house. See it's all about timing..it all happens for a reason!
