Effortless

***photo taken after at least an hour of running around outside with the boys in the summer heat.

Lainey was born looking like a zoo animal with thick, black monkey-mimicking hair. And, 20 months later, she looks like this. How? I do not know.

I believe it's actually getting shorter due to the climate change here....more humidity, which creates more curl, which shortens the length. She has supermodel hair without me doing a thing to it. I don't even comb it in the morning. Usually, 20 seconds is all we can both stand of the hair styling process. I'm happy to get a rubber band in it to keep it out of her face.

Perfect curls, tons of body, beautiful texture, gorgeous color. Am I bragging? No. I'm thrilled she escaped the Side Show Bob hair gene I was born with. When it's not cut short (and it will be soon) or pulled back in a pony tail, it usually looks like this:

See? Not bragging. Balancing.

beautiful...she is so lucky...I have the 1/2 wavy/curly 1/2 straight...growing it out again so that I can do a bun/ponytail again!

My friend's daughter is the same way. Her husband and her also have the darkest brown hair too.

She is gorgeous!

Gorgeous! It is getting curlier and curlier. And Tess still doesn't have much hair, kind of the mullet.

Too Cute!!! Be thankful it looks that cute without doing anything to it - I complain to my husband all the time about having to do three people's hair each day ...

She is a beauty! I just told my sister today I would be scared to have a girl because I would have to iron her clothes and brush her hair-2 things the boys could care less about!!
