Nature Walk

We found a trail just a few miles from our house and took a walk earlier this week. Lots of stuff to learn about our new home here in Kansas, so we're on the go and taking it all in. I love diving right into the history. And, yes, of course....to the little ones, this is no more than a walk. But, they will learn over time.

Sometimes the walks bring sad things to light. Found an egg on the trail that must have dropped from its nest. Part of nature...

Lainey Bug and her 1/2 Gatorade.

Boys loved climbing on the rocks!

Snack time.

Bridges are usually exciting. Always a "ribber" to see as we walk over. Jack's favorite.

The sassy attitude is at an all time high. Love this look on her face.

Oh, sweetness. Sometimes it's just too much. And, most of the time, our pictures turn out best when they don't know mom is watching. This is real.....Carter is the most adoring big brother towards Lainey. Jack? Still working on that.

Time to go....
