Ice Skating

After dinner, we shopped for Christmas presents at some great stores in the Crown Center, specifically a toy store called Zoom. Note...Kansas City is home to Hallmark, so lots of crowns and reference to their store in this area. It's all very well done.

We crossed the street to the Ice Terrace......Jack showed a lot of interest in skating, so we gave it a try with very low expectations.

"Huh? What are we doing, again?"

Ready to go!

He surprised us with his enthusiasm and did much better than we had expected.

Carter cruised around on his own and loved it.

Baby girl watched on the side.

Me and my boys.

Just as exciting as skating.....the Zamboni!

Carter is in there somewhere waiting for more time on the ice.

Sitting seemed to be just as much fun as skating.

The rink....

Back across the street for more shopping. Here is Hallmark's store.

And, Crayola's mega store and restaurant.

Time to go.....Jack is getting sweeter and sweeter with Lainey, here putting his arm around here. There may be some hope after all.

Future visits to this area should include Kaleidoscope (free) and Union Station w/the children's museum. Awesome area. Glad you had fun.

I didn't know they owned Hallmark. I would have thought it was the other way around.
