Candy Factory Tour

A few pictures from our trip to Hammond's Candies. We've been a few times since moving to Denver and we always discover something new when we go. They're most famous for ribbon candy, but I prefer the Mitchell Sweets more than any.

The tour lasts about 3o minutes. Starts off with a video covering the history of the company, old fashioned candy making techniques and how this business has remained successful over the years since their start in 1920.

Original candy machines.

Carter watching the bakers.

Jack and Lainey enjoy some travel brochures mid-tour. And, surprise! They all involved trains.

BIG candies.

Part of the factory.

In the sweet shoppe.....lots of candy canes to choose from!

According to Hammond's, Santa gives their candy canes more than any. Nice little selling technique, considering all of the little ears tuned in.
