A respectable amount of snow fell overnight and it's still coming down now. Everything is beautiful and white and it feels like Christmas.
I didn't feel so jolly this morning, however, when I walked out to the driveway covered and it hit me. My husband lives in Kansas City, so I don't think he's going to be able to shovel. Loaded the kids up, turned on the heater and got to work. It was about 6 inches high in most places. Lots of drifts.
Some pictures from the neighborhood. This big evergreen and the trees in the next picture are all lit at night at the fountain park down the street.
The white lights sparkling look so pretty against the snow.
Santa staying warm on the porch. Don't laugh. The kids love him and squeal "Ho, Ho, Ho!" every time they see him. Makes it all worth the design sacrifice.
Our own Charlie Brown evergreen decked out in old school colored lights.
Oscar, the resident bunny.
Love looking out the kitchen window to see our planters with snow stacked up.
Fire pit out back covered!

I want snow! I want Santa! I want a resident bunny! NO FAIR! Haha. Seriously, that looks like a picture book.
I need some snow. If I cannot have sun, sand, and waves it better be snow and ice. :)
So pretty! So jealous...
Ugh...shoveling snow...that sounds awful!!!
It isn't a ton of fun to shovel, but totally worth it. Love the snow!
