So, we arrived without incident and found a parking place on site.....thank goodness....I was not looking forward to hauling 3 kids, a double stroller, costumes and a diaper bag onto a bus. We walked up to the gate just before 9:00 to find they were already letting people in.
To friends and family, living in Denver, who might be considering going next year: Take my advice. Go early!!!! By 10:30, it was overcrowded and not fun at all. Luckily, we had done most of what we intended to do and so we ventured out around 11:00.
Carter was thrilled to see the storm troopers and asked to pose for a picture.
They had a photographer on site to take pictures in this little harvest set up.
And, for a record 10 seconds, our 3 kids sat, posed and smiled. I was speechless. Luckily, Jack brought me back to reality...and we were off in search of candy!
Trick-or-treating.
Lainey checking out the elephant.
Unscripted sweetness.
Our baby octopus created quite a stir with her diligent walking to each booth.
Train ride!
And, the carousel, too.
A snack break, lunch and then home in time for a nap.

I love Lainey's costume. I have never seen an octopus costume, especially a pink one!
I love it.
Lainey is the cutest octopus on the planet.
Carter seems like the coolest kid.
The octopus is just the cutest thing I have ever seen for a costume.
