Today

So much going on today. Woke early with Jack at 5:00am and then noticed an email from my father-in-law regarding our sweet neice, Maci, who was in the hospital. She is in fine now, but not without giving her parents a healthy scare this morning. Say some prayers for her continued improvement.

Went to lunch with my cousin, Debbie, and her cute girls. Delivered some card wreaths to her for the rest of the extended family and then back home for naps - me included. Thinking of leaving tonight for the big marathon drive to Dallas rather than waiting until 2am as planned. I won't sleep tonight, regardless, due to anxiety for the drive ahead, so I may just go ahead and go. No worries....I will rest a ton this afternoon and not leave until I'm ready.

Seeing my big brother briefly on a layover at DIA and then home to pack and prepare.
