After surviving our first night of camping in Estes, we drove into the Rocky Mountain National Park, heading towards Bear Lake.
Kids loaded up in their carriers, we inquired about which trails to take to see other areas of the park. Nymph Lake was recommended. Wish they had recommended we do it child-free because it was a steep hike!!!!
Jack takes a break from the backpack and hikes on his own.
Stopping for a snack and a rest.
Beautiful Nymph Lake.
So many options....
We stopped at this tree stump and the kids were fascinated.
Hide and seek.
Sweet Carter is always so into nature. I'm consistently impressed that he really appreciates it all when we go on trips like this.
The boys take off.
